Happy Monday readers!

I have a confession to make – I can’t put down this week’s book, Legend by Marie Lu. In my part of the world it’s been extremely cold, wet and windy so I was quite happy to stay in and dig into Legend. I’m so hooked, I can see me finishing it mid-week – fantastic news as it means I can try and get stuck into the sequel, Prodigy, before jumping into next week’s read, John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars!

As much as the characters of Legend, Day and June, are keeping me entertained, I have been procrastinating a little with the digital accompaniments to the book Marie Lu has on her website. One of my favourites has to be the Parkour game starring Day trying to escape the Republic’s soldiers – try it out on your lunch break today. I should warn you though it is extremely addictive!

If you like listening to music when you’re reading, Marie Lu has created an extremely eclectic playlist for Legend which can also be found over on her website. This got me to thinking – what kind of music (if any) do you like listening to when you’re reading? Personally, I’m a big fan of film scores – they help set the scene to most novels. Don’t put your playlist on shuffle though or the theme from Jaws may ruin the mood of your romantic novel!

Let me know in the comments what you like listening to, and don’t forget to tell me and all those involved in Readarama your chosen title for the week.

That’s it from me until Wednesday, but for now I’m going to leave you with this wonderful Vine that I came across over the weekend of a devoted reader’s library:
